Does anyone know if it would be possible to make your own heat bed for the print glass?

I was thinking using a piece of aluminum with some form of high resistance wire or just a bunch of resistors taped with kapton tape to hold it down.

Has anyone done this, or have any ideas?

i have seen more than a few ways to do it, i think power resistors were one of the more popular ways. i would love to be able to afford a milled aluminium plate
