Stepper Motor Driver 1.2 PCB in Germany

I`m thinking about building 3 version 1.2
stepper-motor controllers. First for a
CNC-mill and maybe later add an extrusion-head too.

[reprap.org]

1)
I`m not good at soldering small things.
Is there any reason for using the version 2.3
(http://reprap.org/bin/view/Main/Stepper_Motor_Driver_2_3)
other then that is has fewer parts and is a few euro
cheaper?
I guess the version 1.2 -board will still be compatible
with all newer electronics, is it?

2)
Does anyone have PCBs for in in Germany or Europe?
They don't say it anywhere on the site but I guess makerbot
is in the US (as they use USD) and rrrf certainly is.
Makes little sense to ship some PCB over the ocean.
Where is Reprapsource shipping from?

3)
I cannot find the H21LOB and H21LOI with Reichelt. (For
the optical end-switches)
What compatible parts could be used instead?

(I guess the test-circuit
[notanumber.net]
will be handy too)

Hi,

1) Yes. The communication and function is all the same.
2) (Where is Reprapsource shipping from? ) Germany (you can also switch to German on the right top corner).
3. I use the analogue optocoupler TCST 2103 (reichelt: CNY 37)
