I've been on the maker base site and doesn't have this board on their site and not on the aliexpress shop they have so its hard to know what it supports

its a stm32 processor.. its running custom firmware [github.com]

Although they do provide binary updates, its completely closed source.

So if you have any issue, you have to talk to them. no 3rd party support.

I went to their chinese site and github and it is there.
I think they just lunched this board.
it is just put on Aliexpress but with very poor info there comparing the one found in taobao.com

I receive Robin board,display and stepper drivers Motherboard support only 1 extruder, Second extruder is not presently supported in firmware.,All manual on GitHub are on Chinese language,Google translatte working fine,,Mks will sent me English version ,.Flashing firmware and set up is easy,Similar as flashing MKS Sbase smothie ,, Display flat cable is looking very gently, MB is not tested jet, Good price for ARM chip-set and big size TFT ,

config file is on sd card,,easy for change all value,,,,Motherboard firmware do not support dual extruder ,,In config file have 2 extruder seting and on board have 2 extruder connector,,,Frank Wei sent me massage that MKS expected change firmware begin of next year,,,For moment this is single extruder motherboard

The TFT would be ok, if it was more functional than eye candy, don't get me wrong I have a tft32 but there is a lot more they could add to it to make it nice and useful. A mini keyboard for one as you could submit g-codes manually so for instance on a delta I did a G32 or changed a setting I could M500 from the screen in standalone, also the report back the result of calibrations to

I'd claim an issue with Makerbase, but keep the board until it is clearly an hardware error. Might just be a wrong pin mapping in firmware...

:-( I was the first one to discovered the board, and the fifth in purchase it from TaoBao,
but still waiting my board to arrive after long issue with the shipping and finally got it shipped out thanks to the intervention from Aliexpress' Ms Zhong

For those of you that have this board how is it? Any pros cons vs. a mks sbase or base board?

I gather your with mks and i do keep messaging frank on aliexpress but get very vague replies, My issues are with the tft lack of capabilities and potential it could have there is no way for anyone to develop more functional actions on it not just to able to changing the button images, the config i can't read proper as its half Chinese and English, im trying to change my tft sayin i have e1 when it should say e0 but hard to read the Chinese titles of the functions, it would be nice to see a way to put a qwerty keyboard and a way to manually put gcode in

Extruder is on display is E1, when connect first time i have -42 celsius reading I have connect to E0 for heater cartridge and E1 for thermistor, On display missing many icon comparing with tft2,8" can not get autolevel , This days I will need to order one more motherboard ,,Smotiebord Sbase and 2,8 tft looking much better option.I have 2 Sbase working perfect ..Mks Robin is cheaper option but need more developing for firmware,This is not open source and not supported by community,,Some thing you must do it yourself or wait for Markebase team.

this board is pain in the ass,
in begin i did not have temperature readings ,,no possible ti invert stepper motor direction ,,,it is single extruder board .second extruder is not opertional..extruder on display is E1 but working connected to E0 and TH1

i use new config full on english language posted on GitHub . all direction of en stops and stepper motor s are now correct,homing going to minimum,motors workig correct direction
,
now i have new issue,,i want set 32 micro steps ,,,i have correct double value for steps X180/Y180/Z800/E1 180 (200 steps x 32 microstep x 20 teethx gt2 pulleypich ,Gt2 belt as per prusa calculator and personal experience) and correct size of movement after homing 300mm x200mmx 400mm ,stepper driver jumper are correct connect for 32 microsteps ,,,

printer use only half of hot bed, changing any valuein config file and resetting board do not give any change,,
changing config and flashing new firmware give no change,,,
changing 8gb sd card received with board no give any change,,

,i am piss of and today i am going to scrap Robin board and replace with some reliable community supported board,,,

Markerbase did not respond to my mail,,,No support from MKS no support from community,,this forum is only place where you can find any info..not so much
