CNC Shield V3 + Arduino Uno R3, Heater

Hi
I want to use the teacup firmware with Arduino Uno and a CNC shield V. 3 board

In the configuration file of the board for the heater in extruder has only to choose the AI03 pin that is an analog pin in Arduino uno

In the other hand as far as I know in order to connect and control the heater element (needs 12v supply) you need to connected through a Mosfet and a Pwm pin of an arduino..

Allah the configuration files I have seen until know for this board they have standard the AI03 pin for the heater..


So I wonder.. Have I understand something wrong about the Pwm and Mosfet? Can I use the AI03 (analog) with the Mosfet also?

ok after some experiments with mosfet and arduino + heater i saw that for the heater it is not necessary to be connected in a PWM pin as it just open and close the voltage to achieve target temperature .

so Analog pin can work also for heater extruder
