Problem connecting board mks gen l

I need some help if possible..
When i connect my board to the pc this don't shows nothing..
When connect 2 lights turn on the corner one starts to blink then disappears the red stay on..
And 2 green lights stay on behind the usb shield but nothing happens..
Dead board??
Or can be fixed..

The image shows that it uses a standard ch340 usb/serial converter.

All the pc see is this chip.

it should turn up as s com/serial port.

you do need drivers... [sparks.gogo.co.nz]

If it is showing a com port.... there are other things to check....

You haven't said what your OS is, so cant give specific help.

So is a com port showing up when you plug it in?

what does device driver show?

Nothing...
I go to Device manager and no Port appears..
go to arduino and nothing to..
Use 3 different usb blue cables and nothing...

When connect a blue light and the red turns on.
Then the blue goes off only stays the red..
And both green light stays always on..

Those 2 green light have a (+) signal..
Maybe a short circuit??

check the ch340 has power? can you use a multi meter? Done any electronics?

pin 8 is gnd and pin 16 is vcc
pin 1 is marked with a dot on your image (U3)

check that pin 16 has voltage.
If it does have power the chip is likely dead.

Yes has power..
4.40v in pin 1 and pin 16

Dead chip??

That would be my guess

I would try a different pc or two, just to make sure its not your OS messing with you.

Going to see if can find a a person here if can change that chip..

I used 2 different pc and is the same...
(No signal of the usb when connect and is the same with the lights..)

Hi, did you manage tu replace the CH340G chip on your MKS board? I think I fried mine when trying to connect a fan while the board was on
