i posted it also under step motors but didn't get what i am looking for.
the motor is ELWOOD GETTYS M21-23E-6108CU

it says 1.4V and 3.8 amps for motor, if i get it right, driver would give it higher voltage and lower amper, can i adjust it?

you normally run steppers at many times the voltage and up to the rated current

Lesser current will result in less torque, but it should move before then.
Depends how much torque you need for what ever your doing...

You can't adjust a steppers characteristics without rewiring it

... you'll need at least 2 Amps for proper functioning ... but it should move (slower and without much power) with only 1 Amp too.

What's the planned application?

TB6560 is 3 Amps if i am not wrong, so it should work.

a friend gave me it, who bought it to make a guitar pickup winder. so i can follow his way and try to make one.

he said it is broken, he couldn't make it run and was throwing it. but as i get it he didn't use any driver. not sure what he did, didn't ask for details. but motor itself can be damaged, i will see if it's running first.

... you can measure the resistance to identify the windings.

And a simple test is to move it by hand, shorten the respective windings and check, if the cunter-torque changes while turning ...

i couldn't think about shortening the wires and check for counter torque, thanks!

motor is not with me now, will check it tomorrow.
