Android Arduino compatible board

I can't read Japanese but check out this Android based Arduino Mega style board kit

I have no idea why it's so expensive $380 but interesting.

It's referenced on the Android Development site

It would be really nice to have your Android tablet controlling a RepRap with one of these Android compatible interfaces. It's almost enough to get me interested in Android development...

The Seeeduino ADK Main Board is a more realistic option at $79
It's a normal MEGA 2560 at 16Mhz with a full USB host chip fitted (USB host MAX3421)

Anyone fancy kicking off a project for Android RepRap?

EDIT : -
Found another one with USB host, this has schematics and Eagle files Using the Mega 328

I dont have any coding or electronics skills but I have an old HTC Dream/Tmobile G1 that would make for a great screen/controller! Would love to be able to contribute in others ways...

Both seeeduinos have schematics in eagle etc, i think they are open source. But dont think there is much difference between those and standard arduino.

But this one as FPGA - now thats something really different: Papilio

Seems its somehow close to Arduino also, just havent figured exactly how and at what degree. But it certainly looks interesting and promising.

Interesting choice for sure.
