PCB mill/mantis help

I've been looking around and i've found a link to the Mantis PCB mill on the wiki somewhere. I'm thinking of building one to help me construct the stepper controller boards for my reprap since makerbot didn't seem to have the newest version of the stepper controller board available. While looking at their site i was a little confused about what boards of those they list are needed, or perhaps someone else can link me to some more information on a DIY PCB mill i could build to help me make those last boards i need. I'm a recent Electrical Engineering graduate so i don't mind if the information is technical as long as its decently documented.

update, i think i figured it out, but now i'm attempting to figure out what type of stepper motor to get based upon the driver boards. They have 8 pins per motor, but I was pondering using similar motors to those on the reprap which use 4 pins, i just have to figure out what i need to omit to get them properly controlled.
