searching for printable dremel-head

Does anyone have a working dremel-head that I could print
either for the RepMan or for one of the others (so I´d have
to adapt the model)?

There are so many people talking about milling, somebody ought
to have designed this already.

If you don't get an answer, respond here. Then create a post on the front page, proposing a "working party". Because everyone loves parties. smiling smiley

Also, we definitely need that in the wiki.

1: Front page of what
2: What wiki? There are so many of them.
wiki.reprap.org ?
objects.reprap.org ?
...?

A work-party requires everyone to be on one place
but people here are scattered around the globe.

1. Sorry, I mean in the general forum. No one comes in here yet, so I'll move this thread myself if you like, where people will see it.

2. objects, sorry. Here you go.
[objects.reprap.org]

3. A work-party requires comms and a place to keep notes and parts. Right now, until I can offer you a mailing list, we've got the forum. Wiki = place to keep notes and parts.

It works for the heated bed group in "General".

Don´t move the thread.
It´s far from being urgent and when we move all
the threads out of here, noone will come ever. winking smiley

FYI: the threaded ring on the nose of a Dremel tool is 3/4" x 12 tpi but the thread is so short it works in a 3/4" National Course (10 tpi) hole.

Something to clamp the Dremel or it´s flexible axis in would probably be easier to manufacture.
For mounting the tip of the dremel something taking advantage of the default
detachable ring in that place or an existing dremel-attachment to provide a matching and mechanically stable threading sounds more reasonable the any atempt to print a thread for a milling-head that would have to withstand excessive vibration and stress.

This is something we can start iterating from.
