Hi all!
I know quite a bit about Reprap technics and about Arduino
but I do not know some essential details ...
I saw a video about building the Tronxy X3 on youtube and
this guy mentioned that the Ramps board could be the better
solution BECAUSE
the RAMPS can be equipped with a grbl cnc shield just like
it was a simple Arduino uno.
I do not doubt what this guy said - I suppose I would
have to define some additional Pins in Marlin and I would
have to find out how to connect these to the cnc shield.
This guy also mentioned that one could also use the
additional motor drivers on the cnc shield for a
triple Extruder (Diamond Extruder) and I think this is
a very good idea for my future projects.
I dont have a RAMPS board but I have a Teensylu clone
and I am not sure if I can do the same extension with
the grbl cnc shield on the Teensylu.
please, let me know if somebody described such
extension experiments and please, let me know
if I can do it with the Teensylu board too.
