I plan to build a CNC and i found a good motor for my project.

However something trouble me : the rod in the motor move a little bit (normal for a motor brushes).
Did it will impact the work's quality ?

Can i fix directly the connector on the rod like this
cnc without having quality problem ?

Thank you for reading and ... Sorry for my bad english.

You'd need a toolholder on the shaft to clamp your tools ( ER11 or ER16 are popular sizes )
With a thrust bearing between that and motorhousing the shaft wouldn't move axially.

I didn't know thrust bearing. I tried with a classic bearing but it was too thick.

Thank you for the answer it help me a lot !
