AZSMZ for Laser

Hi gyus. Does anyone have experience with using azsmz board as the controller for the laser?

I have being able to configure everything but unable to get the D9 fan connection to work. Im using a fan instead until i get everything sorted out.

Any help is appreciated

What do you want the D9 output to do?
If you have a laser driver with TTL control, it wouldn't work with D9 ( 12-24V output )
You have to reroute the output to a 5V level pin. Does the AZSMZ have any servo ports? They should be 5V.

I will be using a jtech laser wich connect to a pwm. Then it uses it uses M106 and M107 to turn the laser on and off.

As the laser haven't arrived I wanted to have everything setup by using a fan instead to have everything ready.

I'm just not sure why something so dimple is not working. The fan is 12V and D9 is for running a fan.

I need the pinout for the board but can't seem to find it

You could build a voltage divider from two resistors to emulate a TTL signal from the D9 output.
Use a 100k potmeter and adjust the output voltage by turning the potmeter. ( 10k pot also works )
