Free darwin

I'm going to be building a Mendel soon, and I'm looking to give my old ponoko repstrap Darwin to a good home.

* Definitely a fixer-upper. Only request it if you have a serious interest in getting it working.
* Includes three stepper drivers, but no other electronics boards (Extruder controller, motherboard, and power supply will be required)
* The x belt slips a bit, and some of the parts are cracked, but it should not require any printed part replacements to get working.
* Must be willing to pick up from my house in Kitchener

I'm afraid this offer has now expired. I got no interest at all, and some of those parts are looking mighty nice for my mendel. *licks lips* Mighty nice indeed.

Aw, really? I *just* found this. I was thinking of making a Fab@Home Model 2, but am now thinking a RepRap would be better. If you reconsider the cannibalization of your Darwin, lemme know. You can look up "Netherton" in the Waterloo Region phone book - I'm the only one.
