Alternative of StepStick/Pololu

Hi Evryone,

Im trying to build a Mendel Prusa model with Sanguinololu 1.3a Electronics. Problem I'm facing is tht i cannot find StepStick or Pololu stepper driver ckt available in india. I can order the same online but tht is too costly and will take hell lot of time to deliver. Is thr any alternative of ths stepper driver ckt which eithr i can make at home or available in India.

I used a combination of l297 and l298, both of which are very primitive with just half stepping capability. But it worked and was dirt cheap. There are a few resellers for pololu in India, but as you said, they are expensive. That's one of the best options out there...

Will L297 n L298 work with sanguinololu 1.3a ?? I cannot find d correct pins with ths driver ckt on sanguinololu.
