it is a good effort but a lot of needed to be done before doing this... you should look at printrbot go and ben hecks suitcase printer for inspiration ... also look at corexy.... I think for a engineering student project it is pathetic and i woud expect more from a person of your institute...

Thanks for your reply.
First of all it was NOT an engineering project, it was a classroom project for a single course!(six courses in a sem)
I don't like to look for inspirations but I do study what is there, fyki, we used HBot which is developed based on coreXY!
But yes I accept LOT of things can be made better smiling smiley

Nice work on the marketing and communication too (the video is nicely done).

Question, did you publish any of the sources ? It would be nice the course include talk about the benefits of sharing documentation and sources.

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, always double check what people write.

Would love to share the whole design but we ourselves were not completely satisfied with the design. I am developing another design independently which I will share on reprap.

It's not a problem if the design is not perfect - the point of sharing is to let other take your work and improve on it.
