I have a Prusa i3 from Folger Tech.
The X motor is making a grinding noise but this only happens when it goes in the positive direction from 0 to 200 but when its at 200mm and I bring it home it doesn't make the noise. Any ideas?
Are you sure it´s the motor making grinding noise or is it one of the linear bearings?
Did you try it without belt? Sometimes a loose belt end can scratch against the opposite belt, but only in one direction.
