I finally put up a geared extruder I designed a while back for 3mm filament.

I started work on a 1.75mm design but not sure if geared extrusion is really necessary for the smaller filament. Direct drive seems to be adequite...

Normally when i get really bad grinding of filament, Its normally a hotend issue for me, junk in the hotend or something..

i have one of there extruders, and it comes with another bolt to hold them to the plate with so that it is attached at 2 points not just one in the middle.

it turns out to be a more solid mount than i was expecting.
