Hello Community,
I am currently designing a rigid 3d Printer, where the printbed will move up and down. Now I found that one can find newtonmeter forces for nema 17 motors.
Unfortunately I did not study physics so I do not know how to translate rotating newtonmeters to a supported weight on the axis. Additionally, if I have two drive units for the z axis, I suppose that will double the supported weight right?
This data is given:
12mm rod with 4mm forward per resolution
nema 17 with 0.3 nm torgue (more or less fictional for now)
