Hello,
I am in the process of building my first reprap printer (an SAE prusa).
So far I think I have a good idea on how to proceed with the hardware part.
- I am thinking about using the gen 4 electronics from makerbot but I do not know if its the best option out there.
- My questions are the following:
- Any body have a preference on what motherboard to use and why?
- where do I get the reprap software to setup the printer parameters such as (motors rpm vs linear displacement) , nozzle temperature setting etc.
- how many software packages are needed to setup and run the printer and where can I find them?
