Rep Rap LCD Display goes blank

Hey Guys, new to the forum. I built a printer a few years back and I'm having an issue with the LCD display. Its a basic rep rap display kit. It's worked fine for all this time and now all of the sudden, after I start the print, the lettering disappear and its just blank. Everything works fine, even up to when I start the print, but after a min or two of printing, it goes blank.

The printer is a flex-mendel style printer

If you are using Arduino/RAMPS hardware, then the 5V regulator on the Arduino is probably overheating.

I would also measure the Voltage at The Power Supply again at the controller. If you have a voltage drop on the controller then wiring is in-sufficient for the 3D Printer.

If voltage is the same then try display contrast control on the back of the RepRap display PCB.
