I have marlin 1.1 installed on the board no problem. So maybe I don't need 2.0 but I'm getting an auto leveling sensor probe today that I want to try to make work, and something I read made me think I might want 2.0.
So it errors on LPC1768 environment. Which I do not have set as my environment. Aside from just not being able to find it, LPC1768 is for an Cortex-M3 LPC 1768 main chip, which mine is definitively not. It's clearly an atmel atmega2560 (written right on the chip) Pins.h defines the MKS Gen L as "#include "pins_MKS_SGEN_L.h" // LPC1768 env:LPC1768".
That just can't be right to begin with. The board is a Makerbase Gen L V1.0. I'm using ubuntu and arduino IDE. I have sucessfully compiled and uploaded marlin 1.1.x several times using atmega2560 as the board environment.
