Sailfish 7.6 and latest version of Cura on Linux Mint

I have an old CTC Replicator copy that is now running Sailfish 7.6 and I've just installed Cura under Linux Mint, Cura says the printer is not connected when attached using USB.

RepG can connect so there's no issue with the printer, how do I get Cura to recognise the printer? It wouldn't be so bad if Mint didn't have a bug that stops it writing to a SD Card, I have yet to find a solution online.


I'll probably have to change distros but time ...... just gets eaten up that way.

Sailfish doesnt talk the same language as Cura

Cura needs a plugin [github.com]

That plugin is post processing, it will take gcode file and convert it to x3g for a Makerbot Clone but I don't think it solves my connection issue.
