Hey,

Is there (old) firmware out there to control a CNC machine´s stepper motors with simple Dual H-Bridge Chip. I have an old CNC machine, and want to build a cheap one; with Dual H-bridges fot controlling the stepper motors.

For example firmware working with the Arduino Stepper Library would be awesome.

The original RepRap FiveD firmware did this with the Gen3 Electronics Extruder Controller v2.2.
I am still using this on my original Sells Mendel with no problems.

Teacup firmware has fragments of "greycode", which does that. Looking into the git logs for this term should bring up a bit more. Rarely used, so it likely requires a bit refurbishing.
