Move fw from duemilanove with 168 to UNO with 328

I try to move my working firmware from arduino duemilanove with ATimega 168 to arduino UNO with ATmega 328 but,
on arduino 2009 all work fine , on arduino UNO stepper extruder not work... why ?
Arduino UNO with 328 have only more ram... or have other differences that i don't know?

The UNO might have a slightly different pin layout. Not the ATmega, but the tracks around it.

BTW., replacing only the CPU chip would have been sufficient for a RAM/flash upgrade, but I guess it's too late now. At least you have two Arduinos now, so you can use one as ArduinoISP programmer to update the bootloader.

I think to try for update the bootloader of ONE with Arduino 2009 ISP mode.
Probably influenced even when the bootloader would load Teacup firmware on the arduino ONE .. worked almost everything except the extruder ..

As long as a bootloader works, there's not much point in updating it. For sure, changing the bootloader won't fix your firmware.

Yep, I guess you're right...bootloader works...maybe...because i put 328 chip from ONE to 2009 but i can't upload sketch... IDE program hang with this error :
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51

i check COM connection and type arduino on IDE program ...all ok...

i come back to working solutions but duemilanove with 168 with "old firmware tested" have a problem on extruder.. host crash when working heater + extruder at same time... this arduino firmware are making me crazy ...
