how to modify a firmware

First sorry for my english...
I need help with a personal menu using ramps 1.4 and the scream raprepdiscount full graphic smart controller, i want to do a personal menu and i don't know how modify Marlin firmware or another firmaware...

I do not know how to do that screen paint what I want...

Someone could guide me please?

this is my first experience to prusia i3 3d printer ..


i use prontface to control 3d printer

when i give print the all x,y,z axix motor move to their home location the extrude feed the filament to the hot end .. the hot end extrude only 5mm .. only after this extrudsion all motors stop working and the temperature starts decrease ..


pls help me to solve this i struck here nearly 5 day ..
