cura settings for mendelmax

hello,

i want to try cura on the mendelmax. one problem i have is that in the preferences of cura i have to type in the "steps per E"

in the mendelmax firmware repetier i can only find " #define STEPS_PER_ROTATION 400"
is that the one i have to use and how can i calculate the stepa per mm. that is what the cura wants.

I don't know anything about cure, but steps per e refers to your filament extrusion. Did you go through a calibration for extrusion? If you did (and you should) you will arrive at a steps per millimeter. Use this value.

thanks, i found it. i did not calibrate because i bought a used calibrated one.
