HELP WITH EXTRUDER AND TERMISTOR
July 04, 2013 04:02PM
Hello everyone:

I am slowly making progress in rebuilding a Prusa I received in poor condition.

Now it is the extruder and thermistor.
Initially the machine came with a thermistor was connected to a plate (thermocouple ? ) with integrated which came out three wires going to the plate GEN6 had.

I have replaced the GEN6 to Teensylu. First problem, the connection of the Teensylu is TWO pins, not three. So get it straight cables temperature probe (which is inside a kind of plaster package along with the extruder screw resistant) and connect directly.

Apparently good brand unheated 19.5 ° but put to heat the extruder (with external temperature gauge I have) and while the head gets about 200 the program tells me it is 30 º

The firmware I have tried all types of thermistor and all go wrong (Marlin).

I said that the head is like a plaster tape from where the two wires of the resistance and the other two of the sensor, without any mark or sign of maker.

I think someone told me that Marlin can be done as a table of temperatures ... else other solution !

I hope helps

thanks

Juanjo
