Mendal 3 heater cartridge type

I'm trying to restore a RepRapPro Mendel 3, and I need a new heater cartridge. Unfortunately none of the official documentation lists the specifications or even an MPN for this. Does anyone have this information?

Have you tried asking reprappro ? They probably have a "contact" form on their website I suppose.

Most of my technical comments should be correct, but is THIS one ?
Anyway, as a rule of thumb, always double check what people write.

I'm pretty sure it's a standard 12v cartridge. I've just measure one that I had kicking around and it's 5mm diameter, and 14mm long. The resistance is 3.8 ohms which, if my maths is correct would indicate that it's 40W.

Edit. RRP are sort of still around, trading as RepRap ltd. Here is a link to the cartridge heater you need [reprapltd.com] but you may be able to source one elsewhere.
