I have a prusa mendel i2 with RAMPS electronics. I also have the budaschnozzle 2.0 hotend. When I set my hotend temp to 195 it goes up to 210 then down to 188. It continues to go up to 210 then down to 188 over and over. I am using #7 thermistor in Sprint.

Which firmware are you running? Do you have a cooling fan that's pointing at the nozzle?

I recall settings in the marlin firmware that have to do with the hot ends heater type, could be set wrong.
