i3 gaps on curved thin walls

So overall my makerfarm i3 with the magma hotend has been great and printed just about everything to some degree of satisfaction except for curved thin walls. Also it has been having some trouble with conners but to a much lesser extent the bottom layers always seem to look terrible like shown, but that has been less of an issue. Anyone have any ideas on what to change/tweek to get better looking prints?

It's not clear what temperature you are printing at (bed temp too), what material, what speed, feeds, what cooling, and what retract. Those all play a part.

From the curve wall pictures, it looks like all goes fine for a while and then it goes nuts. Once it starts it never gets back to "ok".

Just for fun - when the printer gets to the point that it messes up the curved walls:

Do a touch test on your stepper drivers. You should not get burned touching them. If you can hold a finger on them for a count of 5 all is well. A count of zero, one, or two indicates some cooling is needed. (note - the idea is not to burn your fingers, it's to see how long it takes to become uncomfortable and remove them from the IC).
