How are the Nophead couplings supposed to work? It doesn't seem like they're able to stay on the motor, and there's nothing to keep them from staying in place as the motor spins. Are they even useful, or should I be going out and getting aluminum couplings instead?
You need to slip some tubing (rubber or silicone) over the motor shaft. Then clamp the couplings over the threaded rod and motor shaft. I haven't found a need for aluminum couplings.
