I'm looking for my first 3D printed. I'm new here but I read some stuff already, and I think Mendelmax 2.0 is a good choice for me. Although I have some doubts. Is 2.0 better than 1.5? As I saw 2.0 has bigger printable area, right? But it's still in beta version, probably it's a bit harder to build. But I want big printable area as possible for this kind of 3D printers. So if, mendelmax 2.0 is the better choice than 1.5, my another question is what motherboard to use? I see Melzi as all in one motherboard, which suits for me, is it a good choice or go for some newer product?
As it's my first 3D printer, I think it wouldn't be so difficult for me to build it, I have strong DIY skill from lots another projects.
