GitHub Files for i3

I'm looking for the printed parts for the i3, single plate version, with 8mm bearings and shafts, and they should be here: [github.com] however the readme says these parts are for the 10mm variation, despite the title of this folder. Does anyone know which case is true? Also, I've found several versions of the single plate .dxf file, such as the one in the readme in the link, but I think that one is for the wrong size bearings as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction? The GitHub files are somewhat unclear. Thanks!

I think what you're *really* looking for is for someone to confirm what you already suspect: if you want something that is somewhat customized, you're going to have to work a bit with a printer to get that right. I just built an i3, printing parts on a now-defunct i2, and it took a fair amount of customization.

First things first, most of the 10mm variants use 10mm threaded rod only. The smooth rod remains 8mm. If this is what you're after, I've got a printer and STLs that can help you. I'd love the chance to sell someone a set, and the price would be extremely reasonable. PM if shipping from the US is a reasonable cost for you, and you're interested.

Actually, I'm not looking for anything customized, I went with these sizes because I thought that they were the "default" so to speak. I'm using the rod sizes as described here: [reprap.org]. The GitHub link I gave above specifically says that the parts in that file are for lm10uu, even though the title of the file is "single_plate_gt2_lm8uu", so I'm not quite sure what these parts are really for.

That being said, thanks for the info and the offer! I might be interested in buying a set from you, but I have another potential source locally that I might go with, depending on the price quote they give me. I'll keep you in mind.

I also still don't know what frame file to use. There is the one from the readme above: [github.com] or a few from the file named "old_single_plate": [github.com], which makes me think they might not be up-to-date? Which one did you use?
