Endstop stopping wrong side

Hello, whenever I moved the X motor manually via pronterface when I click on -X to the left it moves to the right, when I press +X it moves to the left. I placed the endstop on the left side next to the X motor due to the short cables, and when I press on the end stop it stops the motor from going to the right instead of the left. Is there something I can modify on the firmware to switch this around? Motor position is in the correct location aswell as cables.

Have you tried flipping your motor cable over where it plugs into the control board? Sounds like the motor's moving opposite than what the software is telling it.

Well I connected the cable according to wiki. Red starts on the left side. The motors came prewired.

You don't need to redo the cable. You can reverse the direction in the firmware by editing the configuration.h and uploading it again to the controller.
