Awesome video tutorials for assembling the Prusa i3
March 02, 2014 12:00PM
As I scour the interwebz looking for as much material for building my first printer (Prusa i3 8") I came across
this amazing set of YouTube videos that goes in depth about the assembly process of the Prusa i3. Just thought
I would share with the community. (couldn't find any threads already about this)
They are made by an Indian based 3D printing parts/etc website, so credit to them. Accent can be hard
to understand at times, but the series is quite informative.

Part 1 - Assembling the Y Carriage Frame
Part 2 : Completing the Y carriage assembly
Part 3 - Assembling the X axis and the Z axis
Part 4 - Completing the X and Z axis
Part 5 - Assembling and Mounting the Extruder
Part 6 - Basics of Electronics
Part 7 - Making the various connections to the RAMPS
Part 8 - Installing the heated bed and the end stops.

P.S. - This is a general guide, your build may be using other parts etc.

That's really great! I looked through a few of them; like you said, if you can get past the accent, it's really helpful. Here's their website where they have all 8 videos in one place: [www.3dprintronics.com]

Oh man, I had those videos in my playlist, but when I got my Prusa i3 kit, channel was gone, I was so upset. Wish I've seen this thread 2 weeks ago smiling smiley Now I managed to almost finish my build following RepRap's instructions...
