Hi guys,
I just bought a prusa i3 DIY kit from a company in China and have it assembled fully except for the hot end and the printer works on a Melzi board.
The problem is that the axes were responding in a random manner. There will be times where all axis works good but then when i replugged the usb cable to my computer, one of the axis just stops moving. Sometimes, hammering noises even comes out from one of the axis (but its not frequent)
Firmware:
In the beginning, I was suspecting that there may be a problem with the firmware so I tried uploading the exact same firmware to my friend's diy stage but his x,y,z axis works fine.
End stops:
I also tried changing the connections for all the end stops but the randomness still do not stop.
Can anyone advice me on how to go around with this?
From what I know, every connector for the Axis motor has A+ A- B+ B-
Another question that I have is whether the order of the connections of the motor matters in this case?
