Prusa i3 shaking when run a circle or curve.
July 13, 2014 10:42PM
Hello everyone, i'm pretty new to 3d printing, just complete assembling my Prusa i3 with Melzi 2.0
Everything work fine, exept printing circles/curves, it starts shaking and make circle/curve not smooth.
It depends on speed you printing on, faster printing makes bad circle/curve edge. On this video the speed is 50(Cura). And it doesn't depend on slicer or g-code sender.
I attach short video and a picture.
Thanks!

You sure that is not a problem with the drawing. Maybe not enough segments defined. It looks too consistent to be a mechanical problem.

What is the setting for the xy jerk? If you search on xy jerk setting you will find threads that show how this setting affects prints. There were sample pictures where curves greatly improved when they increased the xy jerk setting.
