Confirmation of which printed plastics files

Hi,

First time poster but ive been reading up a lot from the forum and the wiki.
Loads of good information for the first timer if you have pacience.

I need a small bit of help.
Im making a Prusa I2 ive sourced a lot of the parts and a friend from South London Makerspace is going to print the plastics for me.
Im using the lm8uu linear bearings and sticking to the wades extruder.
Im building it stock till ive had a few hours printing and then going to start experimenting with improvements.

Heres my question.
Can someone confirm that these:
[github.com]
Are the right set of plastics and i dont need to run any scripts or modify them, just download?
The directory above talks about running scripts to modify them for lm8uu. Has it already been done to produce these parts?
Do I just need to bundle them up with a list of how many of each i need and hand them over to the guy whos printing them for me.

Thanks

Gordon

Hi Gordon, I made a Prusa i2 last year, and I just used the .stl files from that github repository, so yes, they are the correct files for the Prusa Mendel i2.
There will be a folder in the .zip download with all the .stl files that you need for using LM8UU bearings, no need for you to edit a script, that was already done.
When building my printer, I sent my friend the folder of files and a list of the number of each .stl file I needed to print.
Good luck with your build, and welcome to RepRap!

Good choice this i2, we've made 6 so far and 2 to go. When correctly 'tuned' you'll be able to make high quality prints.

Good luck with the build

Thanks for the confirmation on the directory with the files.
Ill package them up and pass them on.

Yes, ive found loads of documentation and video on the build.
Thats why i chose this printer. As well as the fact that its a good base for many other versions and improvements.

Im not always good at documenting my projects but ill have a go here:

Thanks again,

Gordon
