Mendel Extruder Head Ribbon Cable

Hey guys. This should be the last of thing I need to get. I am currently looking for the "200mm 4-way ribbon cable" for the Mendel Extruder head. Any places you know where I can get it in the US?

Also, will Kapton tape work for the heatshrink needed?

What would be useful to know at least is the gauge size of the ribbon cable.

Hey, ribbon cable is pretty standard - it's 0.05" between the cables. If you find any dead PC's around, you could snag some off the hard drive cables, or just order some up from Digikey.

That said, pretty much any small wire will work for the extruder - no need to use ribbon cable.

buy some 9 or 10 conductor ribbon cable from All Electronics and cut off the conductors you don't need?
