Heatshrink for wiring the extruder

The Mendel extruder page talks about using heatshrink over the crimps that connect the nichrome wire.

Looking at Maplin's site, all of the heatshrink products have "operating temperatures" far below the ~200C temperatures reached by the print head.

Do this mean I need to look elsewhere, or, do the ends of the nichrome wire not reach as high a temperature as the "core"?

In particular, I was interested in these combined heatshrink/crimp connectors. No operating temperatures quoted, but being PVC, I understand they'll be towards the lower end of the scale.

Any comments? What heatshrink have others used?
