migbot prusa i3 newb issues please help!!!

ok i just built my first printer a migbot prusa i3 running on cura 15.1 now my issue is when i go to print it litterally prints off of the heat heat bed and too high the plastic just falls to the table im lost and have no clue what im doing ive exhausted youtube and google on trying to find correct settings or calibration instructions

I'm having the same issue. did your board come with the MKS base v1.2 also? mine seems to at times when printing from SD slices the print in half. I'll post a pic of it when it finishes. just trying to do another test print. I am having an issue with the LCD going all garbled every now and again after been on for about 2-5 mins.
hopefully we can find a solution.

im not sure what it came with as it didnt download anything once plugged into the computer as the tech support said it would i had to find a cura download as it download eitther im about to file a paypal claim ad find someone local to fix this just was hoping someone on here could help im very impatient lol

I have a migbot prusa i3 also, i bought it through 3dprintersonlinestore.com. I was having trouble with getting started too, and had emailed support, and they sent a few pictures for the autoleveling feature with the proximity switch. The proximity switch gets plugged into the -z axis endstop location, the limit switch is unused, the proximity switch should be 2mm above the level of the extruder tip. In Cura, in the start/end gcode tab, you need to remove the 2 lines with G28 X0 Y0, and G28 Z0, and replace with 2 lines G28, and G29. The code G28 is to home all axes, the G29 does the automatic bed leveling. I hope this helps.

could you give a pic of the proximity switch and also a close up of you MKS base board. I noticed that there is a stepper IC missing on my board and now after seeing what others out there have been doing to their printers with the auto leveling... I just been thinking it might be so much easier if I just print another part then stuff around heaps with this leveling by hand all the time.
