Ramp probs! prusa hephestos. (defect ramp?)
April 30, 2015 10:33AM
I got my Prusa i3 hephestos yesterday, but the motors won't run. nothing but the endstops display get power/enough power on the ramp, i tried to measure the stepsticks and set them to the correct voltage. im running Marlin to hephestos v1.4 and freaduino mega2560, i tried using pronterface, but nothing happens, i can see on the lcd display that i goes on each axis the amount i told them to in pronterface. someone have any clue what could be wrong?

Have you firmware loaded to your Mega? If you heat your extruder, does that motor work?

Yes both the newest firmware, and the fail safe 1.3.1 smiling smiley tried extruding nothing happens, but i Found out that with only the power supply connected the LCD do not turn on, it is only on when USB is connected.

Did you see this : [forums.reprap.org]
Broken parts or something. Have you checked that there is current at the end of motor cable? Ramps to Arduino pins not aligned correctly?
