A good source for electronics parts

Hi all smiling smiley

This is my first post on this forum, and i'm french so please excuse my bad english.

I've spend the last 4 days to read everything about Mendel, and i want to build one. But of course i've got some questions.

The most important is: where to buy the differents electronics components: motherboard, stepper drivers and extruder controller ?
I've found the complet kit from makerbot but i'm not sure it will fit perfectly with the geared extruder (because the makerbot is using a DC motor)?

Everything is good for me, i've found lots of shop to buy parts in France, but the electronics is a problem.

Thank you for your reply smiling smiley

You might check the RepRap Map for others in France (I see at least 10 when viewing the attached Google Earth kml file).
Also you might ask Sebastian to create a French RepRap User Group in the Europe sub forum.
