Stepper Extruder problem

Hello,

I have following problem with my stepper extruder.
I want to test the stepper extruder. If I select extrude it does not work but if I select reverse it works.
So stepper only works in one direction. I checked the hardware (both H-bridges work with DC motors)
Stepper motor works in both directions on stepper control board but not on extruder controller board

Any ideas or suggestions what could be wrong?

Have you got your opto's connected? If not disable them in the firmware while testing!

I disabled optos in the firmware but it only effects stepper boards and not extruder controller.

But I found it.

In my Gen3 electronics the analog ground and digital ground was not connected and that caused the problem.

Anhow, good stuff you got it working!

What ground are you talking about. I have just started to work on the extruder and I have not got anything to work.
Please post a picture of how you have it connected.
