Temperature drops during print

Hello, I have a temp problem and no ideas.

I've set the extrusion temp to 250C within the preferences tab of the reprap console, and this works perfectly when testing with the extrude button,
However when going to print the temperature lowers immediately. If I stop printing and reset the console quickly it is around 190C. I can't spot anything in the firmware. Any ideas?

Im using ABS with standard mendel stepper extruder and makerbot electronics.

And did you generate the gcode AFTER changing the temperature to 250°C?
