Prusa i3: Heater bed & extruder not heating up

Hi guys,
i've just bought the prusa i3 kit from the replikeo site.
I've assembled it and did the wirings as the instructions stated here .
I've also uploaded the marlin firmware onto my arduino with the modified configuration.h for the RAMPS 1.4 as stated here
All the motors and the thermistors work perfectly. However, the heater bed and the extruder do not heat up. Moreover, the fan doesn't work either.
Basically everything on the pins D08, D09, D10 doesn't work. I've tried controlling it with both Printrun and Repetier software.
Sometimes it just doesn't react, but sometimes I get the following error:
If you can take a look at my wiring (attached) or if you have any suggestions, i would appreciate that very much.
