Hi, I'm posting here because I want to get people's thoughts on how to reduce friction between my filament and hotend.
So I have an E3d v6 universal hotend. I notice that there's a lot of friction between the filament and the heatbreak when I try to hand feed (cold with nozzle removed). I attribute the friction to the notches that my extruder gear digs into the filament. This makes me wonder if I would be better off with a ptfe lined heatbreak. But the general consensus online seems to be that the all metal hot end that I have is a better option. Thoughts?
