Hah. I happen to be an expert. Try Repsnapper out. It's very simple to start printing STLs with Repsnapper. Then you can do a little reading around the forums, and Reprap in general. What you are asking is already covered in numerous tutorials. Learn Gcode too. Learn to read it like Neo reads the Matrix. Then try out Skeinforge. Calibrate with the various calibration model files on Thingiverse.com. 20mmboxes and so forth. Good luck (with the attention span).
