Whist waiting for new heated bed solution to my own bodged one I was thinking that something must be able to grab ABS well enough to start a print, well canvas paper for inkjet printing works well but does go out of shape with continued printing on the same spot. I stuck this down with
photomount on my bed, so when I removed it , there was a very grainy feel to the bed so I printed on that and it worked even better - not sure if this has been tried before? Doesn't help with warping though, although I haven't tried it with cooling yet but it sticks very well and is easy to remove the pieces
