Hi,

My mendel seem to work fine. But during the printing the extruder motor don't push the plastic in the extruder its just moving up and down i'm not sure what to do. It's working when I go to the extruder tab just not when I do a print.

If the filament seems to bob up and down, without pushing through, your bolt hobbing is faulty. Use a 1/4" 20NC tap, and make the grooves deep. Don't use an M3 tap. the threads are just too fine.

Have you adjusted the current on the stepper driver? Havnig too little or too much current will cause the motor to rattle without moving.

In some cases, you may have a wire pair reversed. Bi-Polar Stepper motors have two pairs of wires, called A+ A- B- B+. They are the two phases of the motor. Try swapping A+ and A- (only) and see if that clears things up.

Also make sure that the motor shaft is not slipping on the gear.
